HAVING HONEST CONVERSATIONS WITH YOUR KIDS ABOUT SEX
If you haven't heard of Shan Boodram, she's a young lady who helps a multitude of cultures and backgrounds understand a new way of dialoging about sex, relationships, and dating in a positive and honest way. One of her shows includes Shan, who's youtube channel is actually Shan Boody, talking to her parents about their sexual experiences, the realities of your kid's maturity into sexual experiences, and more. What really struck me about this video, isn't so much the discussion between parent and child about sex, but the concious parenting exhibited by both of Shan's parents. While not offering overt advice to other parents, they wholly embody the idea of embracing what makes their child happy as a way of keeping their dialogue open, which I imagine in turn keeps their family protected and mature in regards to sexual responsibility. Real, funny, and honest look at how some B Dads may want to explore future dialogues with both chold and wife.
