TERRELL AND JARIUS TALK "FIRST TIME PARENTS

I recently listened to a very interesting Radio Lab podcast episode titled "Birthstory" that spoke about a gay Israeli couple, looking to become fathers.  The story really shed light on how divisiveness and fear of homosexuality not only impacts gay men themselves, but a halo of people, including children, surrogates, other family members, and more.  There's a ricochet of hurt when society's bias supersedes love.  I encourage you all to check out the podcast in the link above to learn more.  While I won't be reviewing that podcast, I am constantly wowed by the amazing gay and lesbian community's growing success in parenting.  Fighting the odds and overcoming bias to parent and raise amazing children in amazing homes.  Dads like Terrell and Jarius of YouTube notoriety, are making a mark by showing the world the realities of being a black LGBT family.  The stories are real, funny, and relateable and definitely help all fathers find inspiration in our day.  Take a look at their take on becoming new dads and the joys, and new experiences they've encountered.
