BUZZFEED TEAMS UP WITH NETFLIX TO DEBUT "FOLLOW THIS"...AND IT'S PRETTY GOOD

I won't spoil the fun, but Buzzfeed's production studio has created 7 episodes of pretty enriching and niche content that explores needed topics like Intersex communities, the opioid crisis, sex workers, web misinformation, but what maybe caught my eye was the episode on Black Survivalist. In this episode, Buzzfeed journalist Bim Adewunmi visits "Sharon", better known as Afrovivalist, in an unknown and remote part of the country, living off the land and teaching other Black Americans how to do the same.  The episode has a hint of humor purely based on the clash of Bim's British properness and obvious discomfort with nature, with Sharon's raw, yet intentional focus on outlasting a country that may not have her best interest at heart when the "shit hits the fan".  Afrovivalist and a number of other "Preppers" across urban areas of the country help Bim understand why it's important for Black America to become more comfortable with "surviving", "preparedness" and being "self-sufficient" in case of emergency, or not.  This and each of the other 6 episodes are well worth a watch at 16-18 min lengths.  Quick lessons in some of the most pressing topics in modern US today.
