LENA WAITHE IS A STAR BUT STAYS HUMBLE
If you're alive and living in the United States you've at least heard of TV shows like Master of None, The CHI, Dear White People and more. Whether you knew it or not, Lena Waithe has been writing, starring in, or producing some of the best content in today's modern television culture. She's also a native of Chicago. I got a chance to listen to her podcast on Love,Sex,and Money with Anna Sale at the gym yesterday (yes listening to podcasts at the gym is a great use of time!). Great story on her coming of age, building networks and finding strength in love and her work.
